> [!INFO] STATUS: ENDANGERED > In the ancient dwarven stronghold dam Thunderhold, in a region about to be under siege by hordes of the dead. ![[musashi.png|400]] Musashi is of clan Miyamoto, from the land of **Shinsekai** (once called Draconista by its former inhabitants). They immigrated there from another plane several hundred years ago, as one of the five clans that make up **The Erabareta Shogunate**. Each of the clans are ruled by a Daimyo who serves the Shogun. Each Daimyo retains the services of some amount of samurai, who are professional warriors of at least minor nobility. The clan wars within the shogunate are fracturing them along clan lines. The thing that held the Shogunate together was the migration and the threats of their new world. Unfortunately, over time, as they settled in and began to build out their civilization, the clans began to clash again and then to outright war. The Shogun was assassinated by members of the Heishiro clan, Miyamoto's archenemies, and a power vacuum resulted as all the clans began fight for supremacy. Miyamoto clan sent a ship across the seat to Aithar, with Musashi as its ranking member, and the ship foundered, with he as the sole survivor. He seeks any people, magic, or artifacts that could give his clan the winning edge, and has stumbled headlong into a date with destiny, where he will be instrumental in stopping the apocalypse - or in ushering it in.
